I checked it out from the UC Berkeley Engineering Library (QA76.642 C63) thinking of purchasing it. But it seems to be just copy/paste to complete some writer's contract. Indeed the editor who accepted it should be embarrassed. Most of the chapters have nothing to do with SIMD or Linux| ||"Any scientist or engineer having to analyze any volume of data should read this book.
