Transposons are a large topic that can't be covered by one or even several review papers. It really needs a book. This one is excellent, and covers some of the seminal work by Barbara McClintock, a chapter surveying the different types of elements,| ||“I do love books where the text points toward the future as well as distilling the past and present.  This volume does both.”  (The Quarterly of Biology, 1 December 2014) | |About the Author
