Ms. Graser goes over all of the basics: geoprocessing, creating/editing features, joining tables, heat maps, etc. QGIS is a bit different than ArcGIS (and gives ESRI a run for their money!) and so I found it helpful that she gave suggestions on laying out the toolbars and explained the icons.
